Looks pleasant enough if you want to live in EP
no thats what a stater home should be, sad thing is i with all the uncertainty would you really want to start in a starter home? then be stuck in it?
where in the hell is 6442 n oketo? wisconsin?
2 bedrooms townhome? For $188,000? really? really?
Seems nice for an older couple with no kids.
“with all the uncertainty would you really want to start in a starter home? then be stuck in it?”
absolutely not. Wow this went for $290 in 2005! Something between the 2004 price and the current list price seems about right. Same if it doesn’t have parking though.
“Same if it doesn’t have parking though”
dude if you cant park right in front of your house over here its either street cleaning day or block party day.
“It is just a short walk to the Metra,” for purposes of buying (not renting), is a phrase which should only be used when discussing a SFH.
“dude if you cant park right in front of your house over here its either street cleaning day or block party day.”
True. It is a nice convienence for unloading groceries and such if you have attached parking. Or things could change. People are doubling and tripling up in housing so all that available parking might go away when G, Sonies and Anon all move in together.
it depends usually the walk from the front of the house for groceries is shorter than on a 125′ lot from a standard garage.
also to note the schools here is edison park elm, which was dismantled from the edison park gifted school so no performance test have been recorded but considering it will get kids from that would go to either oriole and edbinger you should be fine
Not a bad deal, but in a low-density area like this I’d rather spring for a small SFH than take on the risk of possible neighbor hassles (noise, common element maintenance and repairs, etc) of a townhouse.
