  1. Open floor plan or not, that living room looks tiny and rather oppressive.

  2. Agreed spertia, I’m surprised they didn’t doctor/stretch the photo to make it look expansive.

On a positive note, you have Clark Street Ale on one side and superior liquors on the other… so you will never go thirsty.

  3. These “intimate” buildings with full service amenities (doorman, elevators, etc) and only 40 or so units will be among the most expensive to maintain.

They have much of the same expenses of larger buildings (staff, facade maintenance, mechanicals, etc) but far fewer owners to share in the costs. These assessments are nowhere near what they will have to be some day.

Add a few foreclosures to the mix and it spells financial suicide for owners in these buildings.

  5. No way in hell that is 1,450 square feet. I lived in a legit 1,550 SF apartment and each of the five rooms was LARGE.

  6. Clark Street Ale House is awesome! Maybe the owner can afford to live here.

  7. Great location in river north, the rest of this place stinks. Not too bad of a current asking price though.

  8. Aww the big bad foreclosure monster has popped up in this building. Unit 503 is an 800sqft 1/1 listed as a foreclosure for 230k. No word on parking.
