  2. Oh, and judging by the comment below, it also has water issues.

I went to see this place this weekend and I can tell you that this place is NOT a victim of the bad market. It’s a victim of a HORRIFIC smell. Seriously, this place has the inviting aroma of an old musty, mold-infested basement mixed with carpet that a dog has been using as a toilet for years. Ew.

Oh Sabrina – Just another example of how your “Market is down” analysis is better explained with “who is the dumbass who purchased this shit hole for $415k in 2005?”

Are you starting to see the light?

Saying you live in LP is worth nothing. The real value comes if you enjoy the tree-lines streets; The proimity to the parks and lakefront; Waking to a walk through the zoo at 6am; Shopping, restaurants, great schools, and a relatively safe place to live.

I could show you a spacious 2000 sq ft property with granite and ss appliances for $100k in Humbolt Park. Interested my Sonies?

  6. No thanks Steve, I’m enjoying my new place in River North just dandy! And saying you live in HP is like negative 200k, so you’d have to pay me 100k to live there in that craphole! 🙂

  7. Lincoln Park people annoy me. I chose to live in River North because I can’t stand the air of self entitlement the majority of LP residents give off. White bread, spoiled brat invested bars, shops and restaurants are lame and boring. God forbid anybody have a shred of uniqueness in fashion, ideals, or personality. I will say the area is nice as can be but the people… NO THANKS!

Note. I make 6 figures a year and am tall dark and handsome. This is in no way an issue of jealousy.

  8. I like the people in Lincoln Park and Old Town. They are nice and friendly to me. Maybe the issue is you, CC.

  9. CC.. Only 6 figures!!! Explains why you should feel you are getting the cold shoulder. I need to tell you to step it up in order to save Heitman the trouble this time.

    But thanks for sharing.

Oh and CH your earlier comment.. I agree…I was surprised to notice the South Loop is filled with a bunch of little MILF’s also. I will still vote for a walk through Nordstroms first floor shoe department over anywhere else in Chicago though.
