  1. Those assessments are a joke. If this was fee simple it would have gone for ask at the height of the bubble.

  3. I like kooky spaces. That’s pretty fun. What’s the view out the windows with blinds? It seems from the description the only view is from the rooftop deck.

  4. This place does have kooky spaces. That triangle atrium is odd.

People are going by in Wicker Park on cross country skis at the moment. I just saw a Jeep Cherokee beach on a snow drift trying to turn onto a side street. The plows are trying just not keeping up.

  5. Someone posted this place in the comments fairly recently.

I like it but yes the assessments don’t do it any favors.

I’m currently stuck in warm, sunny Phoenix. My flight to Midway has been cancelled, and I’m not sure when I can get back.

The thing about these townhouses is that only the two eastern-most units have lake views. The rest of the townhouses just face each other in the courtyard.

  10. Oddly enough I like this place. The assessments clearly show that owners in the past were getting a deal, and robbing the association of proper payments. Even still, I like this joint at this price.

  13. Swill, I would think $1600 would be on a light side. Maybe $1800… considering free cable and 2 parking spots.

  15. Good point about the parking 1600 would still be my top, but they might get 1800.

  16. Brutal assessments, no way they should be over $300 for this place. I actually like the space and location.

  17. When leaving the garage it is almost impossible to make a left-hand turn onto Sheridan to get to LSD. Depending on the location in the complex, the other owners walk through your patio to get to the beach. Like Danny said non-end units face each other with no lake frontage. Weird layout, buy a condo instead.

I wish their was a nice condo tower on Hollywood beach. Even a generic Miesean steel and black glass highrise. All of the existing buildings look like crap and really show their age.

  19. The whole thing feels like a basement.
2 stories, both duplex-down, as it were.
    meh.
