  2. listing says: “with the best views of Chicago skyline”. Yeah but see pic 10, you have to look at a bunch of old crappy buildings and alleys too. We most certainly don’t live in a picturesque Italian hill town, that’s for dame sure.

  3. Would make a great bachelor pad. Wish I would have lived in a place like this in my youth.

  4. I’ve been on this roof before, it’s shared, and absolutely has killer views of downtown. The picture doesn’t do it justice.

  5. About those alley views…someone who once lived in, and wrote about, this neighborhood had this to say:

“It isn’t hard to love a town for its greater and its lesser towers, its pleasant parks or its flashing ballet…But you never truly love it till you can love its alleys too.”

Nelson Algren. “Chicago – City on the Make”

  6. So monochrome. YAWN. At least make the kitchen with some interesting cabinets. I just was in a place with sleek, bright, yellow and grey cabinets with stainless appliances. Looked amazing.

  8. What would it cost to put up a couple of floor to ceiling walls? It seems like it would be easily convertible to a 2 bedroom unit
