8 Months Later and Still Available: 600 W. Drummond in Lincoln Park

Everyone knows this building at 600 W. Drummond as the one “above the Best Buy” on Clark in Lincoln Park.

We chattered about this 2-bedroom corner unit last March.

See our prior chatter and pictures here.

The south east facing unit has hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops in the kitchen, and all marble baths.

It also has its own roof deck patio for entertaining.

The unit was recently reduced $10,000.

  3. 7 months later and they reduce it 2%? I guess they aren’t interested in selling.

  4. wow this place has all the warmth of a exgirlfriend when you dumped her and asked if it was ok to date her sister then told her you cheated on her with her best friend right after you ran over her cat when you took $300 out of her wallet to pay for her birthday gift that was only $60

  5. 32 photos, and not one says “$439k” to me.
seems small for a 2/2 at this price.

    wtf, indeed.

initially, i couldn’t put my finger on the slight gagging sensation i felt when i saw this. and then groove laid it out in poetry.

$400K for the unit and its pkg space.

You, sir or miss, are a generous soul. This place screams “corporate rental” to me. I’ve stayed in condo-hotels that look very similar (albeit, w/o the 2d BR). Place like this–even in the location and with parking–shouldn’t be any more than $350k.

  8. Oh good. It took them 8 months to take off 10k. So maybe after 2 more years on the market, they’ll throw in a real price reduction.

  9. seems very crampt for 1400 sqft. These patio units are in the back of the building so this unit is basicall over the alley and looking into an interal courtyard. Another thing thats make this place not worth $475K

Courtyard is being kind. It’s the garage roof. Speaking of, wtf is with the giant “flower” on the roof?

  11. It’s overpriced a bit, but I’m not sure it’s worth completely hating on. It’s just a cookie cutter, that’s all.

  13. I’m sure there is just a huge demand for a generic McCondo above a Best Buy on a crowded and noisy street in an area with no scenic beauty at all. At least the stupid realtor ad can truthfully say “convenient to shopping”.
