    5% increase in 5 years proves that the market is HAWT, HAWT, HAWT!

    The properties looks like a decent place for a couple of recent grads to live, probably would do better as a rental.

  4. I realize this one is contingent, and supposedly bigger:

    but to me it’s way worth the $75k price difference to not muck about with doing a full-ish reno in a high rise, even if it would only cost $50k to have done.

  5. As someone said above,

    I think all it does is show a potential buyer something this unit *doesnt* have, and that is updated finishes. Also shows how much money and work it would take to make the unit look ‘updated’.

    I’ve noticed this trend a lot lately…not sure what the realtors are thinking here.

    Far better off leaving well enough alone.

    That being said, don’t think 450 is a terrible price for this location……It’ll sell somewhere in that 425-450 range I think, with parking included.
