Mid-Century Modern Returns at Under the 2004 Price: 235 W. Eugenie in Old Town

We chattered about this Harry Weese mid-century modern duplex at 235 W. Eugenie in Old Town several times last year.

See our March 2008 chatter and pictures here.

After several price reductions it was withdrawn from the market.

Well, it’s back and reduced again. It’s now also listed under the 2004 purchase price.

The 2-bedroom unit is in a prime Old Town location, near the shops, the El and Lincoln Park.

This unit has no central air, but does have an in-unit washer/dryer and an assigned, outdoor parking space (which is a hot commodity in Old Town.)

Will it now sell at this lower price point?

Nick Patterson at Kale Realty now has the listing. See the pictures here.

  3. I still stand by my March 2008 comments.

  4. I think it was way overpriced in 2004. Nothing about that place screams nearly $400k condo imho. Seems to be a well maintained unit, but the 1.5 bath is an issue and the kitchen is below average.

  5. So in your first chatter, you said the 2nd bedroom was 12×10… this chatter says 10×8 which is it?
