A 3-Bedroom Brick and Timber Loft Right on the 606: 2111 W. Churchill in Bucktown
This 3-bedroom corner penthouse loft at Churchill Row at 2111 W. Churchill in Bucktown came on the market in July 2015.
Churchill Row was converted into 39 condominiums in the early 2000s. It was a former cabinet factory.
This loft has exposed brick, timber ceilings and timber beams and 19 foot vaulted ceilings on the main level along with large industrial windows.
2 out of the 3 bedrooms are on the second floor.
It has two outdoor spaces, including a south facing terrace and a private rooftop deck with city views.
The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops.
It has all the features buyers look for including central air, washer/dryer in the unit and deeded parking.
The building is also directly on the highly popular new public park, the 606.
At 2000 square feet, this loft has more square footage than many single family homes in the neighborhood.
Originally listed for sale by owner last July, it has been reduced $40,000 to $725,000.
Now that it’s open, is being right on the 606, instead of simply being “close” to it, a selling point for a property?
Emily Sachs Wong at @Properties has the listing. See the pictures here.

Rarely available!
It is a nice space, but definitely needs a refresh. Kitchen and baths look a little worn.
Electric blue kitchenette!
I was pretty sure that this building is undergoing exterior work and Photo #6 with the scaffolding confirms it. This will never sell for this price. The finishes are pretty ordinary and I don’t think that being ON the trail is a real plus.
Priced like it has fresh premium finishes instead of dated and ordinary ones. Underwhelming for the money.
Clearly, the pricing for this place was (owner listing) and is (agent listing) all wrong. This is a better building/location if you ask me. For $175K less.
