Lack of central AC sucks but there’s so much extra to make up for it. Lovely place overall, but I’d love to see a floorplan. Some rooms look pretty awkward and I have to wonder if the realtor rounded up the room sizes.
“an opportunity to get into…” – depends, this is definitely not a starter home for most people/couples (ones who didn’t graduate debt free and land $75k+ starting salaries with additional help mom & dad’s bank for DP). But luckily Lincoln Park still has some good options for modest first time buyers in the sub 300k range.
Yes the third bedroom looks awkward and would have to be an ‘office’ doubt you could even fit a twin bed in that room from the looks of it
but this is a nice street, and the fact that its not actually ON the el tracks helps a lot

This is a really nice place. I might even break my rule about living in a small condo building.
I’ve heard nothing but horror stories from multiple friends who live in small condo buildings with 2-3 units. It doesn’t matter how nice the place is. There are thousands of things to disagree over, and not enough units for a representative democracy.
3 units plus at least one unit is a rental (google street view from August 2016 has a large “for rent” sign on 1st floor, from Domu no less) – no thanks!
I love the pic of the lonely ottoman in his own room. This is a nice enough place if you aren’t picky, not a good functioning kitchen though.
