Another Trolley Tour: Visit Developments on the Near North Side
We’ve chattered about these Sunday trolley tours offered by Rebecca Thomson before and some of you have gone on the tours.
From the website:
“We carefully guide individuals looking to purchase a new home, investors in the selection of appropriate properties, and owners looking to sell an existing condominium residence. Our customers are those who value their time and want to efficiently search for the ideal property.”
She’s doing another one:
- Date: Sunday – November 16
- Time: 1 pm
- Reception with cocktails and catering by Fox & Obel
- They’re also raffling off $500 in gift certificates
This tour will cover the following new construction buildings:
- The Peshtigo in Streeterville
- 30 W. Erie in River North
- 110 Superior in River North (about to start closings)
- Walton on the Park in the Gold Coast
- 550 St. Clair in Streeterville
It’s free to attend but you must register with Rebecca at Buyorsellacondo.com.
If anyone goes- please report in with observations from the various sales centers. Thanks!
Isn’t pestigo canceled or on hold?
I thought pesthigo was on hold ?
What are the sq footages of the studio and 1-Br’s? Cant wait to see what happens in the other streeterville bldgs that aren’t finished or half occupied (peshtigo, new tower of 600 LSD, 110 superior). i don’t expect this to ever look like the south loop, but regardless of how nice these bldgs are, who would want to move now, when there is no telling when the rest will be sold? they’ll have to drop prices. And what happens to the stable buildings that aren’t filled with investors and speculators? Crazy times.
Surprised this post didn’t get more comments. Sounds like a pretty expensive marketing gimmick. Obviously, the commissions are quite rich here. Not to mention…how much “careful guidance” is someone going to get as one of 20 people in a cattle car? All right, so maybe it’s nicer than a cattle car.
Yeah, I’m real interested in feedback on this.
MtC, the crazy times were during the bubble inflation. The correction was expected to look like this.
I’ve actually been on one of her tours. It’s very, very convenient. No, you don’t get “careful guidance” (though I imagine if you wanted it, you could certainly get it) but it is a lot of fun, and extremely well-organized. PLUS beer at the end. 😉
Sorry my post was supposed to be on the thread for ST. Clair. OOPS.
