If it looks familiar, that’s because we last chattered about it in June 2015.
Back then, the kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities had been painted white, along with the rest of the unit, and it was being marketed as “California chic in Chicago.”

If you recall, this building has 6 units and is a rare mid-rise building with an elevator.
This top floor unit has 10.5′ ceilings and a full wall of built-ins in the living room.
The kitchen has white cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a kitchen island.
It has the other features buyers look for, including central air, washer/dryer in the unit and garage parking.
This unit is also larger than your typical 2/2. The current listing doesn’t have the square footage, but the 2015 listing said it was 1670 square feet.
It’s also in the Burley school district.
Listed at $570,000 in 2015, it eventually sold for $545,000.
It has come on the market at just $589,900.

What do you think the square footage is? I hate when it isn’t listed. The unit looks to be decently sized, but at the end of the say, it’s still a two bedroom.
I’ve got nothing against this place. My beef is cosmetic and no big deal. On the one hand, I applaud them for not putting the TV over the fireplace. At the same time, now the fireplace radiates and warms… the back of the couch? Nothing wrong with that – but it makes this space seem strangley configured (when it really isn’t). I’d be staging this place a little better for the sale – but what do I know about what basic bitches want anyway? I guess toasty necks.

3N certainly had nicer appliances – except for the dorm-style-wine-fridge (I think that’s what it is). How much wine do people need to store in their 2 bed units?

From the size of those fridges, about 4-5 cases.

If you’re using Redfin on a web browser, under Property History, many previous listings are linked. Doesn’t work on the app though.
You can view past listings on the Redfin app, but it’s a bit of a pain. Zoom right into the property on the map. Then in the search function, choose “sold homes all time”. Now you can click on the property and see all the past listings.
Remember this top floor unit?
It didn’t sell last fall. It was withdrawn from the market in November.
But it just came back on a week ago and is now under contract at the same price as the fall: $589,000.
