I have to say, I admire the honesty of the pictures. You can clearly see, from several shots, the El tracks running through the backyard. If that’s going to be a deal breaker for some people, let them know in advance instead of expecting them to check a map before coming to tour (which they should do too).

1. there is no gap. There is more likely overlap.
2. More like “conveniently located next to the el and the metra”. Too bad they built those kinda ugly condos instead of a metra stop where the car wash was on Addison.

Every room looks tiny and the el tracks are right behind. No vintage touches, either. I can see why it’s priced low for a SF in this area. The problem with buying a house on the el is trying to sell it. You need a certain kind of buyer who can live with the noise.

The lack of cooperation between Metra and CTA is rather frustrating. A connection at Addison would have been way too smart for them.
Property isn’t just backing up to the L, it’s right where the curve starts, so probably some curve squealing too. Ugh.
