good deal on a nice house, in an awful gang neighborhood. THis is one of those nieghborhoods I think will eventually turn in 15/20 years. It’s been trying to turn during teh the bubble but its just a little too on the outskirts.
Basement looks dank and depressing
Exposed brick may look nice to some but a below grade room with no insulation is going to be an absolute icebox in the winter.
I cannot believe this sold for almost half a million in 08.
All that exposed brick – I’d feel like I was living in a garage. Drywall would help this unit a lot.
Despite half of it being below grade, it seems pretty bright. Nice street, too. But still priced too high.
It does kind of seem that this place could use $10k of drywall work. I’m not sure that it’s that bad of a price – clearly priced to sell versus the 2008 price. I think that this is in Hamilton, so not terrible but clearly not as good as many of the surrounding district.

Might look cool to paint all the brick white, then it would look like a bright gallery space.
I think that much brick can be cool. It would be a crime to paint or plaster over it. I DO think this place is priced about 50k too much. I say it will sell around $330k
