Get a Huge Outdoor Terrace Without Buying a SFH: 344 W. Dickens in Lincoln Park
This 2-bedroom townhouse at 344 W. Dickens in Lincoln Park came on the market in early September 2015.
The listing says it has been renovated.
Built in 1963, I’m not going to list everything that has been done but here are some of the things:
- New walnut stained Brazilian cherry floors on all levels
- New appliances and mechanicals
- New kitchen, with a 6-burner cooktop and stainless steel appliances
- New roof and skylights
- New 3/4″ glass enclosed spiral stairs
- California closets
- New bathrooms
There is also a huge 29×14 outdoor terrace with a remote controlled awning.
Both bedrooms are on the second floor.
There’s a lower level family room and laundry room.
The townhouse has central air and one exterior parking place is included.
It is a fee simple townhouse so the monthly HOA is low and includes garbage and snow removal.
This townhouse went under contract once in September.
Will it go under contract again quickly?

Very cozy little backyard. I am not a fan of the facade, but it is seems to be quite nice for a couple or a family of 3.

1963!
Looks like a trailer park in back
Spiral stairs are lame, adding the glass is polishing a turd
Cool place. If I’m paying nearly $600k though, I want 2 full bathrooms (one of which should have a tub). I would also rather not have a mirrored basement. The layout also seems a little weird with a dining table almost in front of the front door. I like that the kitchen is tucked away in a corner though. The TV placement is also awkward with the staircase almost blocking it.
This seems like a good place for a single man.
must be 1963 week here on the chatter!
should show a split level in forest glen or something for HD since he loves them so much
here you go bro!

That front door doesn’t match the interior or exterior look and is UG-LEE!
“here you go bro!”
Groove is selling???
That Forest Glen house makes me feel very sad.
That’s a lot of stuff to move in that Forest Glen house.
This property is not attractive but is very affordable due to the distress sale. I hope this property is soundproof because there must be a lot of noise nearby.
