The Loft With Townhouse Style: A 4-Bedroom at 2222 N. Racine in Lincoln Park
This 4-bedroom at 2222 N. Racine in Lincoln Park came on the market in June 2015.
This is a brick and timber loft building but the units are townhouse style, with your own private door facing the courtyard.
This property has 3-levels and a 330 square foot first floor private terrace.
It also has the only private attached garage in the building.
Two of the bedrooms are on the second floor and two are on the third.
The unit has slate flooring and a den with coffered ceilings.
The listing describes the kitchen as a “chef’s kitchen” with Viking, Miele and Subzero appliances.
Originally listed for $999,900 it has recently reduced $50,000 to $949,900.
This property seems to have it all, including the coveted 4-bedrooms.
Why isn’t this selling?
Nathan Ryle at Dream Town has the listing. See the pictures here.

Weekly purchase applications, by the way, ran 20% higher than a year ago last week.
But 2014 was a dead year in housing. Purchase apps were at 30 year lows last year so the numbers HAVE to be better. Next year is when you’ll really see if this boom holds. By January we’ll be seeing much stronger year over year comps.
Buyers are definitely taking advantage of lower mortgage rates right now. Many are scared that rates will be rising in the fall.
I don’t know… if the place you’re selling hasn’t sold in 50 days then maybe you’re asking too much.
I bet if you raised the price by 50k, installed some hardwood floors instead of that travertine tile and bad carpet everywhere it would have already sold, also… nice veiw… lol
because, “lincoln park”
Love the unit and building despite how distracting the inconsistent interior design & furniture is. Doesn’t look like you have the nicest view from the unit, but it’s a trade off. The views of the park across the street are nicer but you have to deal with the sounds of screaming kids all day. Assessments seem too low!
Not my taste, but man this place has appreciated over the years.
This place looks really nice. I am not sure on the price, but I prefer townhouses to condos.
