The Park Tower was built in 2000 and has 117 units.
For years, it has been considered one of the premier luxury buildings in the city but in the last 16 years many new buildings have been built.
There are 9 units currently on the market, with one of those pending.

huh? you’d think for $860 a sqft it would be a ‘gem’ already, no?

Pretty nice, but for that price it’d better include semi-weekly guaranteed front window seating at Nomi
Might not have lost its “cache” but the fact is hat it’s gonna take a heck of a lot of “cashe” to afford that place. Change out those black countertops and it could be quite nice. Really like the terrace as well.

$866 per sf is not bargain-pricing. I love this building’s location, vis-a-vis all its competition, because it’s right on Chicago Ave. on the west side of Michigan Ave., so you can pull out of the garage and get going in a car across Chicago. Otherwise, if you’re stuck in Streeterville, it’s like being in a golden prison.

Actually very easy to jump on lake shore, close to 94 and the loop. Location is pretty central and easy access to high speed cordidors. I can tell you with experience that while the Museum of Science and Industry is 9 miles away, it’s only a 15 minute drive at 8AM.
