Not a bad place but the no parking, again, is a deal killer. Traffic is awful too. I used to live a little west of here and getting anywhere was an ordeal because traffic on Addison and side streets moves at quite literally a snails pace, especially on game days in the spring and summer. This unit was obviously a rental for 80-90 years before some overzealous developer converted it to a condo at the height of the bubble. Granite counter tops and a metal balcony don’t change the fact that this would have been better off as a vintage rental for $2,200 a month.

No, it looks like they put in sliding glass doors and added the balconies.

Pretty sure those were sunrooms before conversion, so fully enclosed.

1437 W Addison #3 is on the market for $385,000. Other than the California closets, I don’t see much difference.

More of this will develop as climate change worsens. The Midwest is actually well situated for climate change even with hotter summers.
Those balconies are really weird looking. I also can’t tell if this unit is dark and dreary or if it’s just the pictures. The other unit listed for $385k looks nicer to me.
