This seems like a pretty good deal even though its a low floor the price isn’t that bad at all, it has been mostly updated as well… there must be something else, perhaps a looming special assessment or something? Seems too good to be true
How are the taxes that low? Also, how are the assessments so low? Something doesn’t seem right.
Can anyone explain why the developer would put sliding glass doors in the bedrooms? It’s baffling to me and looks really odd.
Layout looks a little odd. You have to walk through the bedroom’s sliding glass door to access the office area (sun room?). Also, the bedroom wall doesn’t look to be fully enclosed. Must be for ventilation requirements because there is no direct window in the bedroom.

We just sold a 2 bedroom in this building. Have seen several units over the years. It’s a stellar location but most units have really low end finishes and they are loft-like – partial walls. This one is nicer than most. Generally speaking the price/SF is low in this building – always assumed it was because of the level of finishes but it also depends on which part of the building you are located in – so you can get the square footage you need at a reasonable price in a great location and tell your friends you live on Michigan Avenue.
The building is enormous. Note that the toilet and tub are raised above the bathroom floor. That is one odd thing about the building. I’ve seen it in all the units and believe it’s the only way they were able to pitch the drain pipes.
