Some Price Reductions on the Far North Side

Both units seem pretty classy and livable to a broad demographic to me.
The assessment for the one on North Shore seems a bit low for a building of this vintage with this number of units, though, so I’d be a little wary of that.
The Rogers Park joint is beautiful. Above average photography, too.
Looks like the owner is trying to eke out a profit, though.
More piddly price reductions on the horizon as they chase the market down? The Magic 8-ball says yes.
How is east rogers park these days? A friend of mine got his wallet stolen and jaw broken walking home late at night at sheridan and pratt. granted this was 5yrs ago.
I went up to this area to check it out a month or so ago and the beach area was filled with some undesirables…that was during the day also
I live close to Sheridan and Pratt, and love it. We mostly have few problems. I had no idea that happened 5 years ago, but we DO have a couple of shaky buildings nearby. At least 1200 W Pratt has been renovated into overpriced condos that are now rented out to nice tenants, so that is one bad building less in the area.
This unit is located on North Shore, near the beach, and that is a fine block with great neighbors, beautiful buildings, and a very short walk to the el at Loyola. You can get to the stores in Edgewater just a few blocks south very easily, on foot if you want.
But the unit in Ravenswood is even better looking and larger.
They’re both really beautiful, it’s just that the Ravenswood unit is really incredible.
East Rogers Park is really block-by-block… some great and beautiful, others, well, ghetto. Used to be one of the nicest and wealthiest neighborhoods in the city not so long ago, too.
The Ravenswood unit is spactacular and that kitchen looks like it’s custom millwork too!
