  1. Looked at the unit directly below this a couple years ago and loved it.

This is a great building with amazing views, and high on my list for a future condo investment. It’s hard to get high-floor corner units, but several are available now. I’d personally prefer a northwest facing unit, one of which is available several floors down for around the same price (I believe).

Building has great amenities and I love the location. The strike against it is that, like many LP high rises, it’s approaching 50 years old, so there may be some high maintenance costs on the way.

    HAWT(tm)

    Needs more white

The buyer pool when this came on the market would have had rates in the low 3’s. Sellers are f’d thinking a $500 cut is going to work in a 6% enviroment. These guys probably end every facebook/craigslist add with “I know what I’ve got”

Balcony views off the LR suck, BR is nice

WTF is with the ceiling conduit between the LR & DR?

Building looks ridden hard and put away wet

    Oh, a $500 reduction? I can’t believe that didn’t get this sold!

This place is nice and the views are awesome, but this building is pretty meh.

  4. I once looked at one bedroom here with a northeast view overlooking Lincoln Park and the lake on a beautiful spring day. The view was amazing. From the treetops Lincoln to the sailboats out on Lake Michigan, I was in love. It was high enough to see the lake, but low enough to see tree and interesting happenings in the park. Definitely best view I have seen in Chicago.

Did not like the condo or the rest of the building. Common areas were a bit rough.

  5. I don’t like the idea of having a bathroom open into a shared hallway. I’m not sure if I could get past it psychologically even if I always kept the door locked.

  6. The views are amazing. I especially like the skyline views because you are just far enough away to really feel the energy of it at night, with all the lights twinkling.

  7. Not a bad unit but the $500 price chop reveals that the seller is a clown.

  8. The best views in this building are northeast and west. South views mostly suck because of the 70’s monstrosity high rise across Armitage. Even if you’re high enough to see over it, it’s still kind of in your sight lines.

We were impressed with 2020’s amenities. Maybe we have low standards, seeing some of the other comments here.

A $500 price drop? Is that a joke?

  9. Views are great, but you’re barely clearing that building directly south.

Building is meh, they redid the gym but it’s still not up to par for a dude that actually lifts weights (need olympic bars, heavier free weights, etc.)

$500 price cut is a joke. With today’s interest rates, good luck.
