Trying To Sell A 1-Bedroom in Andersonville: 5609 N. Wayne
This 1-bedroom plus den at 5609 N. Wayne in Andersonville was on the market for 5 months without a sale in 2011 and recently came back on the market in October 2012 to try again.
The top floor unit was a 2005 conversion.
The kitchen has cherry cabinets, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.
There is a slate surround in the bathroom.
There’s no parking but there is central air and a washer/dryer in the unit.
The unit is now listed about 21% under the 2008 purchase price at $179,000.
Is this a deal for a newer 1-bedroom in this neighborhood?
Jennifer Barnes at @Properties has the listing. See the pictures here.

Cute place, but everything about it says cramped thanks to the L shaped kitchen/living room. Maybe 700 sq ft at the most. It would be very difficult to entertain more than 3 people here and it could probably take 1 overweight person to collapse the outdoor balcony as well and sue me and the HOA.

Nice unit, but priced too high for its size.
247.5K insane. Oh the bubble days.
Once again, the hood in the kitchen is a nice touch…but juxtaposed next to the dorm room quality fridge. This place looks nice, but a place this tiny is a hard buy. I think it would have been better staying as a rental.
