Do you really mean that? I think these places look awful. What is it with the concrete ceilings and exposed duct work? I can understand the appeal for a developer (dirt cheap to build) but am I the only one who thinks these places look like a parking garage? Like Grandpa Simpson I used to be with it until they changed what it is and I admit that I might be behind the times and therefore unable to appreciate super chic pseudo loft construction. In my mind if you take away the granite counters and new appliances these are exactly the sorts of homes I would expect to find in the former Soviet Union.
The ceilings only look high because the rooms are so narrow – makes me think of a cell.
