This is a great looking unit, and convenient for anyone working downtown and looking for a really fast commute. Not a neighborhood I’m interested in though. I’m betting this goes to a corporation looking to house their executives close to the office.
This place tempts me. We’re looking for a 3 bedroom+ place with character, good space, good walkability, access to public transport, and preferably a decent neighborhood elementary school: and it ticks all of those boxes.
Agree it’s not really a neighborhood, so it seems counter-intuitive for a young family… but giving it further thought millennium park is your playground, you have great access to all the cultural institutions, the neighborhood elementary school is one of the best…

They won’t pay this much. Presidential Towers is a hell of a lot cheaper.
And…gone before we could even arrange a showing…
My husband and I viewed this unit: It had a very awkward layout, a very narrow spiral staircase is the only access to the upper level (unless you exit the unit and take the common area elevator or stairway); the balcony is very small and narrow; the exterior corridors were dark and the carpeting hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, which to me indicated a lack of building or condo board oversight. We thought it was very overpriced.
