We’ve chattered about this 2-bedroom vintage unit at 507 W. Aldine in East Lakeview several times since last February.

It had seen numerous reductions before it finally went under contract early in the summer.
But suddenly, it has come back on the market at the same price as when we last chattered about it in June.

Will this go under contract again as quickly as it did last June?

Either the (June) buyer failed to secure financing or the place failed the home inspection. If it’s the latter, the place is a lemon. If it’s the former, then the place looks like a good deal, especially if it closes near $300k.
It was a cash offer. There were 2 loans on the property and while determining which lender was going to get what amount of the purchase price, the buyer backed out (multiple months of waiting). Inspection was completed.
