A 3-Bedroom Duplex Estate Sale In East Lincoln Park Finally Sells: 2131 N. Clark

We’ve chattered about this 3-bedroom duplex at 2131 N. Clark in East Lincoln Park twice over the last 4 months.

See our January 2013 chatter here.

It originally came on the market in mid-November 2012 at $375,000.

It was an estate sale and was being sold “as-is.”

It lingered on the market for several months with no price reductions before it finally sold recently for $340,000.

If you recall, the living areas were on the first floor and the three bedrooms were on the second floor.

There was a 2-story heated atrium with a 8×12 sunroom.

It had central air, washer/dryer in the unit and outdoor parking.

If it came on the market right now, would it have sold for full price with multiple offers?

We’ll never know…

Emily Jeffries at Re/Max Properties had the listing. You can still see the pictures here.

  1. Well, good luck to the new owner. I just imagine going into that dreary lobby every night and it makes me feel depressed.

  3. What’s the over/under on how much time elapses before this unit’s reoffered for sale?

Is it closer to 3 months or 2 years?
