Selling Three Years Later: 2522 N. Halsted in Lincoln Park

It appears to be difficult to be selling a unit in a recent conversion these days.

Take this two bedroom unit in 2522 N. Halsted in Lincoln Park which was converted in 2005.

  1. Did the agent use a cell phone camera to take those pictures?

The problem with this unit is that taxes are so high since it is a new conversion. I was originally interested but taxes killed it for me because monthly payments would have gone up significantly.

  5. I think the whole place is probably about 800 square feet- this place was REALLY tiny and the second BR was only about 10×8- barely big enough to call it an office, but not a bedroom. The crappy TV is included in the sale price, but I could not swallow the over $5k in taxes this place required, even for being in Lincoln Park!
