I lived in this building for a summer – it is very nice and great location. This seems like a very good deal given the moderate assessments, nice finishes and parking.
I mean even if I was rich I wouldn’t want to live in streeterville… but this seems like a pretty good deal to me – it has everything but a second bathroom
i am surprised that a 2005 built building still has those individual heating units by the windows.
“a 2005 built building”
Condo conversion in ’05 of a much older building.
I think in the current market this is a great deal for the location and price. assessments are kind of high, but that’s pretty typical of streeterville / gold coast.
Maybe some nicer furniture/fixtures and this could make look a lot better – that taxi cab frame in the bedroom is a piece from Ikea i literally had in my college dorm as a senior.
Jon – are the ceilings as low as they look?
This would be a good deal for a parent with a kid at northwestern law. Let them live there, and then you have an in town.
Jon – are the ceilings as low as they look?
They weren’t lofty, but they didn’t seem low or anything. Just unremarkable in height, I guess.
“Maybe some nicer furniture/fixtures and this could make look a lot better”
That all looks like rental furniture, so yeah, for sure. Was most likely “staged” for cheap.
Great location. Building is a deal.
