  2. Nice finishes. I can’t get over the only 4 windows with views of a parking structure. The floor plan seems to show a 5th window over the tub, but that must be the niche! Haha.

  3. I hope the future owners can live without natural light.

    Who puts 3 en-suite baths with no access but going into the bedroom, especially with the 3rd Br being a den (Dont think its a legal Br). The Ba and Laundry should be flipped

    Finishes are cookie cutter and boring and increase the suicide factor by 37% in combination with the exterior views

    No parking

    LOL at the gym photos. I guess the went with the Minute Bol peck machine

    Whats the deal with showing 3 year old renderings of the pool Vs showing you know the pool?

  4. I’ve looked at several units in this building…and I just don’t get it.

    Especially this unit.

    Looks like a decent remodel, but hard pass for this unit in that building.

    Lose it to f/c after 28 years. ouch.

    aaahhhh–f/c of a reverse mortgage. Makes sense now. $610k in 2012.

    Glass doors = borrowed light = “legal” (fwiw), but yes to the rest of the comments related to the quite-useful-office/not-really-bedroom.

    With the dire view, would be a solid short term rental, but a really tough to imagine living in for 5+ year at the ask.

    It’s i the south tower based on the views of the W Lakeshore hotel’s parking structure. What a sad view.

  9. The reno is nice. However, that view of parking deck is depressing imho. It’s ok for a hotel stay, but no way I’m going to pay $700k to look into a parking garage.

  12. I LOVE the finishes in this unit. They did everything right. They gave it the California beachy finishes, which are “in” right now and are being done in some of the new rental towers.

    Additionally, it is light and fresh which is good for this unit and the amount of light it gets.

    Love the kitchen with the mix of white and modern wood cabinets. I’m thinking about doing something similar in my house when I renovate.

    The wood features are also cool and unique. I’m not sure how they’ll age in 10 years though.

  14. I’ll add that this particular area of town is ultra-noisy thanks to all the ambulances going to NU hospital. It’s really outrageous.

  16. We’ve seen units on CC before with bad views but this takes the cake. Rivals for worst view I’ve ever seen in a condo I actually was in, on about the 7th floor of 2800 N LSD, looking north directly into the monstrosity of St. Joseph Hospital (which so richly deserves to be torn down after assaulting our eyes for 60 years).
