Get a 2-Bedroom Lakeview Townhouse for Under $425,000: 2825 N. Wolcott

2825 n wolcott

This 2-bedroom townhouse in the Landmark Village at 2825 N. Wolcott in Lakeview recently came on the market.

Landmark Village is a gated townhouse community with 198 townhouses with attached garages.

This townhouse has three floors.

It has a 1-car garage and a family room on the main floor.

The living room, dining room and kitchen is on the second floor. There’s a wood burning fireplace with a marble surround sound in the living room.

The kitchen has white cabinets and what looks like white and stainless steel appliances.

The two bedrooms are on the top floor.

There are hardwood floors throughout.

The listing says there are “newer” windows, roof and doors.

It also says the mechanicals are 2 years old.

The townhouses in Landmark Village usually sell pretty quickly.

Is this townhouse a deal compared to even the basic 2/2 condos in this same neighborhood?

Philip Schwartz at @Properties has the listing. See the pictures here.

  1. Diagonal flooring and TV above the fire place, whats not to love

This place is pathetic. The closet under the stairs with the french door is a fail.

  2. But the prime NoCoCo location makes up for all that!

I don’t think that’s a closet, I think those are the stairs to the lower level.

  4. This seems like a good value for the neighborhood. I wouldn’t want to live this far northwest, but it seems like an affordable housing option.

  6. I dig how the realtor claims Burley as the a-a school, and Jahn (the actual a-a school) as the “alternate”.

Liz, not sure if you’re referring to the house or the neighborhood, but either way I agree.

The place looks weird – never like having to walk up a flight of outside stairs esp in the winter. Neighborhood is awesome – can get to Roscoe
Village, much of Lakeview and expressways easily. Also safe area with nice parks and street parking not so bad.
