  2. I just don’t like town homes period (they are too claustrophobic) especially I don’t get why they made them somewhere like SL were there was ton of land available.

  3. I think that the only time a place like this would make sense is if it was in a neighborhood in which you could walk around (and had several attractions close by). This isn’t that type of neighborhood – I feel as though I was in a prison.

  4. Clio — have you been to this area of the SL? Obviously not if you feel it isn’t the kind of “neighborhood in which you could walk around (and had several attractions close by).” Tons of parks, restaurants, and attractions (i.e. 10 min walk from lake, Museum Campus, Grant Park, Chinatown). Don’t knock what you don’t know.

  5. Waaaaaayy off topic but,

so you know James J Banks of the famed zoning family, and 36th ward William J Banks which (head of the zoning committee), is on the board/committe for the illinois tollway.

so again you can thank the chicago machine for screwing the people AGAIN.

  7. “Quinn just put Alexi Giannoulious on some kind of Illinois “university” board,”

i heard it was the state community college board? will need to look that up.

but its befitting as he screwed the college fund up so those same kids that are short on cash no for a university, he can screw them also.

i am this close to being out of this state if not country

  9. Back to the property on CC. This place is nice and Clio I have to disagree on the hood. No it is not the gold coast, river north, or Oak Brook however it is QUITE walkable, has plenty of shopping, dining, and other entertainment options in close proximity. That hardly constitutes as a prison. In addition it is a quick walk (thru the tunnel) to a very nice part of the lakefront called the Museum campus.

Perhaps you have seen the area as you drove down LSD. It is near a place called Soldier Field. Ringing any bells???? Maybe not as you likely are just like me and make it a point to rarely go south of Roosevelt Ave.

The condo will sell. It is slightly high as buyers need to think they are getting the “steal of the century” on anything they purchase. I’ll say $335 to $340 get’s it done before Thanksgiving Day weekend.

  10. Oh and I hate the outdoor spot. This holds back a few buyers. Tip of the day is NEVER buy a condo without indoor deeded parking spot and if you purchase a 2 bedroom or bigger then make sure to get that second spot if available.
