Love Big Brick and Timber Lofts? A 2/2 at 835 N. Wood in Ukrainian Village

835 n wood

This 2-bedroom loft in the Meter Building at 835 N. Wood in the Ukrainian Village came on the market in December 2015.

It has the features loft lovers look for including exposed brick, timber ceilings and a bow truss.

It’s a south corner unit with 1800 square feet.

The kitchen has a commercial Viking stove with walnut and limestone counters.

The bathrooms have luxury finishes including Duravit, Grohe, Toto and Ann Sacks tile.

The loft has central air, washer/dryer in the unit and 2-car heated garage parking included in the price.

It has reduced $59,000 since December and went under contract in April 2016.

It has since re-listed.

Are big lofts still the “in” places to live?

Jamie Connor at Conlon has the listing. See the pictures here.

  1. Not seeing 1800sf here. Is there some prorata share of the garage?

    Like the extension/power cord combo

As much as I love Black Walnut, that aint the right use

Anyone thats impressed with Ann Sacks tile is a shitbird

  2. Great unit for a starting family. Open floor plan is great for young kids! Never let them out of your sight!

  4. Will sell, probably a little under this listing price. Its not bad at all but the ceilings seem kind of low for a loft

  5. This is really East Village (like in East Ukrainian Village). Do others see that as a useful distinction? Sabrina apparently does not.

  7. I love that open style of garage. The rest is ok, not a fan of lofts. Agree it would be a great place to raise a kid, depending on the neighborhood school. I bought my first house over there for less then $75k so I can’t get my head around this price point. To me, this area is still arandas, Pizza Hut and Kmart.

  8. The garage is my favorite part of this place. I’d just want to live in the parking spaces and rent out the loft with its lack of counter space and cabinets and fridge in the kitchen.
