Have you always wondered what is behind the curtains at those cool industrial lofts in Printers Row? This weekend is your chance to find out as the South Loop Neighbors host the 10th Annual Printers Row Loft Walk on Sunday, October 21 from 12:00 to 5:00 pm. Tickets are available in advance for $20 at several locations in Printers Row or on the day of the Loft Walk for $25.

It’s a great time to see some neat properties in a neighborhood that Chicago Magazine recently called the “hottest in the country.” I don’t know about that- but if you go to the Loft Walk, you can be the judge. As an added bonus, the weather is supposed to be great.

  1. Do you have any information about the Bunham Pointe at 710 S clark St the builder is Terrapin Properties. I am interested in purchasing a unit in that building and wanted to find out more information. Thanks

  2. Darlene: I don’t have much information on Burnham Pointe except that flippers are looking to already sell in there (see the “flips” category for a post on Burnham Pointe.)

Are you planning on living in there for a long time? They are having a hard time selling out these units so it’s likely values in there will not be going up for quite a few years. Add to that that the Vetro and Library Towers are also being built only blocks away- and there will be a lot of inventory in that area in the next year or two.

Anyone else with any info on Burnham Pointe? (the building, finishes etc?)

  3. Yes, I am planning on living in there for a long time. They do not have any models to show so it is hard to know what they would look like once completed and if anyone know about the I would appriciaete feedback on this. Thanks
