Congrats to the Blackhawks: Stanley Cup Champions!

They did it!

Blackhawks are the Stanley Cup Champions.

Whoo-hoo!

Due to Game 6 and the Blackhawk championship celebrations- I will be posting new updates on some properties we have chattered about before.

Also, I will be traveling over the weekend and may not have good internet access. So Monday, you could also see some updates on properties we’ve chattered about previously.

Thanks!

Sabrina

I’m dragging but no strange injuries. But it’s all worth it!

  3. A reason not to live on the west-ish side of Lakeview: The team shows up at the Pony Inn around 6:30 or 7am and the police and media helicopters arrive too. It is seriously loud here right now.

  4. Sabrina, it was great loved every minute of it. i am dragging bad too and wife is not answering my calls this morning. So it looks like i will be sleeping on the couch for a day or two. but still ABSOLUTELY AWESOME MEMORABLE TIME.

BTW the first of 6 bulls win was crazier.

  5. The city was nuts last night, I watched the game at two places in River North and then headed home; the amount of people cheering on the streets and pouring out of pubs was impressive. I counted 3 Stanley Cups being hoisted by crowds.

  8. Wrigleyville was INSANE. I bet those people in the West Loop are happy this morning they are NOT the “new” Wrigleyville. 😛

From a Detroit gal, I must say:
Congrats to true Hawks fans everywhere. Your team was the most talented and most impressive of the playoffs. Well done.

  9. Bulls championships were definitely way more crazy, but this was pretty sweet.

made the HUGE mistake of biking in to work to show the missus I wasn’t too overexuberant last night.

  12. Advantage of living in Hyde Park:
I did not know they even played, let alone won, last night.

  13. Ken – thanks for reinforcing yet again the stereotype of the “typical” Hyde Parker. I lived there in the 90’s and believe me I was fully aware of the Sox, Cubs and other teams.

Yes, Hyde Parkers DO care about something other than the U of C lacrosse team!

I kid, I kid….congratulations Hawks, no we just wait on the Cubs.

(actually maybe Noam was being profetic and refering to the current national discussions of the failing real estate market)

Upon the winning goal, I went to the balcony in my Evanston apartment and shouted a very loud “Woo Hoo!”…. this was followed by total silence. No one else in my neighborhood was probably even awake.
