Looking for a Condo with 2 Garage Spaces? A 3-Bedroom at 3204 N. Paulina in Lakeview

This 3-bedroom at 3204 N. Paulina in Lakeview came on the market in March 2019.

Built in 2001 this is a boutique elevator building with 6 units and an indoor garage.

This unit is a rare condo with 3 exposures.

At 1800 square feet, it has both a living room and a separate family room.

The master suite has a marble bath with a dual vanity.

The kitchen has white cabinets and a large island along with a wine fridge and stainless steel appliances.

According to the listing, the hardwood floors have been refinished and there is new carpet in the bedrooms.

The listing says this is a three bedroom but the floor plan calls the third bedroom an office, which measures 7×11. (Is it really a 2-bedroom?)

Along with a private balcony, this unit also has a huge 600 square foot deck.

It has the other features buyers look for including central air, washer/dryer in the unit and the coveted 2-car garage parking.

The listing says it’s in the Burley school district.

It is just steps from the big Lakeview Whole Foods and numerous shops and restaurants of West Lakeview.

This unit hasn’t changed hands since the original sale in 2001.

For those looking for an elevator building, outdoor space, and 2-car garage parking in this neighborhood, is this a rare buying opportunity?

Jenny Ames at Engel & Voelkers Chicago has the listing. See the pictures and floor plan here.

  1. looks pretty good. maybe noisy, maybe a little small for a 3bd, but it’s almost a bargain compared to the general lack of supply of 3bd that isn’t a low ceiling dark townhouse, or a crappy split face block construction yuppie condo from 2008 crisis. probably sells quickly and I’d be looking at it for sure if we hadn’t bought in 2017.

  2. “or a crappy split face block construction yuppie condo from 2008 crisis”

Two of the exposures are split face block construction (circa 2001)…

  3. TV over the fireplace, micro over the stove, and a four-top dining table. A home run!

  5. “When will there be a split concrete block revolt?”

Millennial buyers have no idea what this even means.

  6. Millennial here – we know what split concrete block construction is. Started to be widely used before/as we we reached adulthood. We’re stuck with those behemoth walls for a while. Thank you, uncreative and cheap Baby Boomers and Gen X.
